Excel Esports signs Nukeduck as new mid laner for 2021 LEC Summer Split

The Veteran European mid laner Nukeduck departed from the Astralis’ starting lineup in February. And now has found a new home for the 2021 LEC Summer Split the 24-year-old will replace Czekolad on Excel Esports’ LEC roster and play for the team in the 2021 Summer Split. Just three days yesterday had Excel announced that they would be parting ways with Tore and Czekolad as they look for ways to improve the team’s synergy and performance.

The vacant space would most likely be filled by former Misfits Gaming member Denyk. With Astralis, Czekolad had a 1.9 KDA with 15 kills, 24 deaths, and 31 assists and the team struggled in the Spring Split with a disappointing 6-12 record. Excel did not have a good Spring Split either they failed to make it to playoffs as well. We will have to wait and see how an experienced player will help matters.
