TL jungler Pyosik earned the pentakill while playing Viego in the second game of the series, flanking while GG players were setting up a teamfight in the midlane, and midlaner APA enabled him with a massive Neeko Ultimate. This was the first pentakill ever performed by a jungler in the League of Legends North American scene.

Then, Viego, the snowball machine, steamed through GG. He progressively took control of Tristana, Maokai, and Rumble. He was able to obtain the pentakill and the remaining GG player alive by diving in on his final possession. He was named Player of the Series for his efforts throughout the game and the whole series. This was the first pentakill ever achieved by a jungler in LCS history, according to a later statement from Riot Games. It was Pyosik's second of his career; the previous one came from when he was still competing in the LCK.
