Infinity Esports and Unicorns of Love end their Worlds journey early

As League of Legends’ biggest tournament of the year heads to its fourth day two teams would have to bid their goodbye to the big stage after they were dismissed from Worlds 2021. Infinity Esports and Unicorns of Love became the first two teams to be eliminated from the big show. Both the teams had an impactless time during the play-in stage, with just one win between the two of them.

From group A Infinity ended their Worlds run winless after being thrown around like a ragged doll by LNG Esports and Hanwha Life Esports, while they were hopeful of a win against OCE’s PEACE and the CBLOL’s RED Canids but maintained a silent scoreboard at the end. UOL almost went winless as well except for the late last-minute miracle against Cloud9 which wasn't enough to see them to the next stage.
