JDG made it clear early and often: they're the real deal

JD Gaming of the LPL won the 2023 League Mid-season Invitational by beating their regional rivals Bilibili Gaming in four games, capping up one of their most dominant runs of domination during the competition. JDG amassed a 12-game winning streak in individual contests on their path to MSI history. 

JDG defeated almost all of their opponents during the competition with ease, winning all four of their games and never falling into the MSI lower bracket. JDG began their run with back-to-back sweeps over G2 Esports and Bilibili in the first two rounds before barely defeating T1 in a five-game thriller in the winners' finals. JDG was given a straight entry into the bracket stage of MSI owing to their position as a Spring Split regional champion. JDG defeated Bilibili for the fourth time in the past two months today, looking as sharp as ever.
