Team Liquid has announced the person who will take over as the LCS team's head coach for the second half of the 2023 season, less than a month after parting company with previous League of Legends coach MaRin. According to the club, Reignover will advance within the organisation and become the head coach after previously serving as an assistant coach. Reignover has previously held head coaching positions with Cloud9 in 2021 and Liquid in the first half of the 2023 season, respectively. He participated in the 2017 LCS season with Liquid as well.
Beyond the change in head coach, Liquid also affirmed that the team's starting LCS lineup will remain the same going into the Summer Split. While the LCS is off, the majority of the team's players are currently attending boot camp in Korea. Beginning on June 1 with the start of the LCS Summer Split, Reignover will make his head coaching debut in 2023.
