Eain "APA" Stearns, a rookie mid laner for Liquid, has been in the North American development system since 2019, moving between several teams while he constructed his resume in preparation for his first opportunity at a significant esports organization. This past week, the 21-year-old finally made his LCS debut, and he took full advantage of the opportunity by going undefeated in his games versus Immortals and 100 Thieves.
APA while piloting Tristana and Ziggs concluded the week with 11 kills and 14 assists while also accounting for 31.4 percent of his team's overall kills. Although his early laning statistics weren't as outstanding, he showed a lot of promise on a lineup that included veteran superstars trying to make the playoffs. Liquid will need APA to stand his ground if they want to continue to be one of the top teams in the league and advance farther in the upcoming summer playoff round.
