MAD still has a lot of work to do

After the samurais dominated their way into the playoffs with two back-to-back series victories against SK Gaming and KOI, many people anticipated G2 Esports to easily defeat MAD. They appeared to be much more coherent recently than MAD is. But it seemed like both sides were struggling to get a grip during this series. Yet throughout the whole series, Steven "Hans Sama" Liv climbed on choices like Jinx and Lucian, making it difficult for G2 to play around him. 

On the other side, MAD still has a lot of work to do before they can join BDS in the finals later this weekend. To end their lower bracket run, they must first face Team Vitality, facing battle against some of the top players in the league, including jungler Zhou "Bo" Yang-Bo and seasoned mid lane standout Luka "Perkz" Perkovic.
