Powerful superstars and persistent veterans have taken over the league

The North American competitive scene has a clear path to the 2023 League of Legends World Championship, and the finest players in the area are gearing up for a gruelling fight via the LCS Championship. The finest players of the regular season, however, will be honoured after surpassing their contemporaries as the kings of their respective roles before the eight surviving teams continue on their adventure.

The 2023 LCS first team All-Pro awards were announced today, consisting of veteran top laner Eric “Licorice” Ritchie, jungler Robert “Blaber” Huang, mid lane phenom Joseph “jojopyun” Pyun, AD superstar Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol, and support Choi “huhi” Jae-hyun. Jojopyun won the tournament with an astounding 106 points and got every vote for the first team on the public voting sheet, with the exception of four. After a dismal spring season, the young star had an amazing turnaround split and helped the Evil Geniuses team to an astounding 12-6 record.
