The 2023 League of Legends Pro League (LPL), which keeps all 17 teams from the previous season, is the first split of the 2023 LPL season. The Chinese League will celebrate its tenth anniversary this year, and the LPL will use a new logo to mark the occasion. JD Gaming will defend its title this season.
With a total of six series in week one, the 2023 LPL Spring Split will formally begin on Saturday, January 14, at 1 am CT. The opening matchday will include JD Gaming vs. Bilibili Gaming where Mid laner Zeng "Yagao" Qi, will compete against his old team at the 2022 World League of Legends Championship.
The league will span 10 weeks in all, beginning on January 14 and ending on March 26. On weekdays, there will be two series every day, while on weekends, there will be three matches per day.
