Clarence Seedorf has officially been appointed head coach of Corinthians, marking his return to the touchline after more than seven years away from management. The former Netherlands international has signed a contract running until 31 December 2027.
Renowned for his achievements as a midfielder, Seedorf remains the only player to have won the Champions League with three different clubs: Ajax, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
His previous coaching experience includes spells at Milan and Cameroon, although neither brought lasting success. More recently, he worked as a television pundit and joined Italian amateur club Sanremese’s management in May.
Now, the 50-year-old faces a fresh challenge in Brazilian football. Speaking after his appointment, Seedorf expressed his determination to build a competitive side, promising commitment, collective spirit and a team ready to fight for every ball and every victory.
The club confirmed that Seedorf and his coaching staff will arrive in Brazil in the coming days.
