Lazio delivered an impressive 3-0 victory over Juventus, extending their outstanding start to the Serie A season and strengthening their position among the title contenders.
The visitors broke the deadlock eight minutes before half-time when Danish defender Oliver Provstgaard headed home Mattia Zaccagni’s cross, scoring his first goal for the club. Juventus struggled to respond, with several promising attacking opportunities going unfinished.
Gustav Isaksen doubled Lazio’s advantage midway through the second half, cutting inside before firing a precise finish into the net. Substitute Fisayo Dele-Bashiru then completed the scoring late on, registering his first goal of the campaign. The result marked a historic achievement for Gennaro Gattuso, who became the first Lazio manager to win six of his opening seven league matches.
Lazio climbed back into second place, level on points with Inter, while Juventus remained eighth after extending their difficult run to just one victory in five matches.
