Luis Enrique has expressed his admiration for Maghnes Akliouche after the summer signing delivered an outstanding performance in Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-1 victory, capping his display with a late goal. The Spanish coach highlighted the 24-year-old’s versatility, technical ability and physical attributes, emphasising his capacity to influence the game in several attacking roles.
“I love everything about Maghnes Akliouche. Everything. He was the best, or one of the best players on the pitch,” Luis Enrique told reporters after the match.
The PSG manager was particularly impressed by the Frenchman’s adaptability, praising his effectiveness as a false nine, his performances on the wing and his ability to operate in midfield.
Although Luis Enrique was already familiar with Akliouche’s qualities, he admitted that the player had exceeded expectations since arriving from Monaco in a deal worth €50 million. The early signs suggest PSG have secured a versatile attacking asset capable of strengthening their offensive options throughout the season.
