Sevilla have completed the signing of 18‑year‑old Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Abrokwa from Adabraka Elders, agreeing a three‑year contract that runs until June 2029. The move makes Abrokwa the first Ghanaian player in the club’s history and the first to join directly from a Ghana‑based team.
Abrokwa began his career with Peace Boys FC before switching to Adabraka Elders, where his pace, dribbling and close control quickly drew interest from European scouts. His transfer was negotiated by representatives Daniel Boifio Junior and Jorge Garcia of SBE Management, working alongside both clubs to finalise terms.
Sevilla, seven‑time Europa League winners, are rebuilding after finishing 13th in La Liga last season and missing out on European competition. Their recent strategy prioritises young, long‑term prospects, and Abrokwa fits that profile. He will join the squad for pre‑season at the Ramón Sánchez‑Pizjuán and is expected to start with Sevilla’s Juvenil A side as he adapts to Spanish football.
