"It is not discussed much in the US. I personally doubt it will succeed because there is not enough talent in the EuroLeague currently, and creating teams from scratch is difficult," he stated.

While acknowledging the potential for global competitions, Windhorst highlighted a profound cultural gap. "Europeans do not experience basketball like Americans. You cannot simply insert an American league here; it does not work that way." However, he hopes the project succeeds to bring necessary funding. "European basketball lacks sufficient investment.
