With a game-high 29 points from Donovan Mitchell, the Cleveland Cavaliers took a commanding lead in the first half thanks to 13 3-pointers, and they went on to win their sixth straight game, 136-110, over the fatigued Sacramento Kings on Monday night.
The Cavaliers tied their season-high 3-pointer total of 23 while winning handily, Max Strus added six 3-pointers in ten tries in his 22-point performance. The Kings concluded their road trip with a 5-2 record, despite Domantas Sabonis recording his 15th triple-double of the year. The two games prior were victories for Sacramento. In the first half, Mitchell went 3-for-5 from beyond the arc, finishing with 19 points as the Cavaliers claimed the lead in the eighth minute of play and never looked back. Cleveland led 74-59 at the half after making 13 of their 22 long-range tries in the first half.
