Andre Jackson Jr., a second-round pick of the Bucks, has officially signed with the team. Jackson was signed by Milwaukee to a regular contract, most likely making use of the new second-round selection exception, even if the specifics of the deal were not made public. Jackson is not listed with a two-way contract.
Last month, Jackson was selected with the 36th overall choice in the 2023 draft after helping UConn win the title as a junior. In 36 games (29.1 MPG) for the Huskies in 2022–2023, the 6’6′′ guard averaged 6.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.1 steals on .432/.281/.646 shooting. In a draft-night trade with the Magic, the Bucks received the Magic's 36th pick in exchange for a 2030 second-round pick and cash. The 21-year-old played against Denver on Friday night in the Las Vegas Summer League to make his NBA debut with the Bucks. He finished the game with nine points, six assists, three rebounds, two blocks, and a steal.
