The Golden State Warriors have turned down all sign-and-trade offers involving Buddy Hield and Moses Moody, per NBA insider Jake Fischer. With limited shooting beyond Stephen Curry, the front office considers both players untouchable as they aim to preserve their perimeter strength heading into 2025-26.
Hield joined the Warriors last July in a six-team trade that sent Klay Thompson to Dallas. Signed on a four-year, $37.8 million deal with a 2027-28 player option, he quickly boosted Golden State’s outside shooting. Playing all 82 games last season, he averaged 11.1 points on 42% shooting from the field and 37% from three. In the playoffs, he elevated his performance to 12.5 points per game while hitting 42.9% from deep. With a career three-point mark near 40%, Hield remains one of the league’s most dependable shooters.
