16 squads in to CCT North Europe Series 1 Playoffs

The playoffs of CCT North Europe Series 1 are going to kickstart on Friday, October 21. The 16 teams in appearance will fight battle it out via a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket for their shot to secure the first-place prize of $22,000 and 150 points on the North Europe regional ranking leaderboard. As other events in the Champion of Champions circuit have happened before, the knockout stage will consist of eight teams, who accepted direct invitations to the playoffs, and another eight squads, who locked their own places after triumphantly wading through the swiss-style group stage.

CCT North Europe Series 1 will carry a $50,000 prize pool as well as rewarding points to the North Europe regional ranking leaderboard. Squads who end up in the top three after the conclusion of all four online cups will gain invitations to the North Europe studio finals.
