Complexity have become final team to book a spot in the Royal Arena

After defeating Liquid 2-0 (Anubis 16-4, Inferno 16-2) to secure their place in the Royal Arena, Complexity has became the eighth and last team to do so. They had a losing record of five games against the long-reigning NA champions, Liquid, but they broke it with ease.

Liquid had to work hard to get this far, needing three maps to defeat Party Astronauts and Forsaken. Before Damian "daps" Steele was to be the team's IGL in CS2, Complexity proved to be too difficult a test for the "experimental" squad with the Canadian as a backup caller. The match highlighted the two squads' diverging trajectories: Complexity was on the rise, while Liquid was going through a difficult time. Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gainskis was Liquid's lone shining star during Anubis, failing to match the teamwork and multifaceted utility of Complexity despite coming up big with many multi-kills.
