Astralis defeated Eternal Fire in the grand final of CCT South Europe

The Danish team beat the Turkish superteam in the CCT final, defeating them to win the $22,000 big prize and their second CCT championship of 2023. They overcame obstacles including Iron Branch, Aurora, and OG along the road. Altekz's third tournament playing for the main lineup, the triumph is the first for the Danes since  Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth was replaced.

This was the first event for Eternal Fire since Özgür "woxic" Eker added to their lineup, which is always shifting. They will definitely be frustrated that they were unable to go farther in the online tournament, but they can still walk away with pride, especially because team captain Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli sat out the opening map of the championship match. The Turks will be hopeful that their most recent roster change will finally result in the proper player lineup after woxic had a commendable individual performance upon his return to the team.
