ESL announced all of the opening matchups for Pro League Season 18

Prior to the commencement of the competition in Malta, ESL has released all of the Pro League Season 18 opening matchups. From August 30 to October 1, a 32-team tournament will take place. It will consist of four groups of eight teams playing in a double-elimination bracket, with sixteen teams moving on to a single-elimination playoff round to determine the winner. 

Astralis and Ninjas in Pyjamas will square off in the opening match of Group A, with the victor going up against either Vitality or ORKS. On the other side of the bracket, FURIA will face Movistar Riders, while Grayhound will contend with GamerLegion. The No. 2 and No. 3 teams in the world, Heroic and ENCE, are both in Group B, despite being on different sides of the bracket. The group also includes Evil Geniuses, MOUZ, and Monte.
