New England Whalers beat Furia

Furia had entered IEM New York after bagging the title of ESL Pro League Season12 North America after sweeping 100 Thieves in the grand finale. New England Whalers entry to the tournament was more after fielding a stand-in where Brandon "⁠BOOBIE⁠" Roberts replaced Brendan "⁠Bwills⁠" Williams due to squad lock and they had already lost a match to EG 0-2. Whalers even after the loss managed to put in better performance during their matches with Triumph and Rebirth which sealed their playoffs spot but they would beat Furia, this surprises us all. Changing the whole scenario on the scoresheet which now sees Evil Geniuses on top and Furia in 3rd place.
