SKADE triumphed at the Elisa Invitational Winter. The Bulgarian team drove past the opposition over the last three days after being immediately accepted to the quarter-finals, defeating Eternal Fire, Copenhagen Flames, and HEET without losing a map in any of the three series. The Bulgarians, who are currently rated 27th in the world, were just the eighth-highest-ranked team in attendance, but they managed to beat the favorites, finishing ahead of Entropiq and ENCE.
The victory, which netted Bubble and company $50,000, came after the Bulgarian team had struggled in several earlier events, most notably in open qualifications for the PGL Major Antwerp European RMR event. SKADE will seek to keep up their current form in their final bid to qualify for the RMR event, which will determine all European and CIS representatives competing in the Major.
