Vitality have secured a spot in the grand final of Gamers8

Vitality has qualified for the Gamers8 championship after edging G2 in a three-map series. The teams traded blows on each other's chosen maps—Inferno (16–12, Anubis (10–16), and Mirage (19–15)—before going the distance on Mirage. Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's team got some sweet revenge with the victory after losing to G2 less than three weeks prior in the Group B upper bracket final at IEM Cologne. Vitality chose Anubis this time instead of Vertigo, which didn't work out, but they persevered on the Mirage decider to win.

It appeared for a significant portion of the decider that G2 and ENCE would face off again in the IEM Cologne championship match, especially with both of the Kova cousins playing at their peak and Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut conspicuously absent early in the map.
