Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly identified Lens defender Ismaëlo Ganiou as a potential long-term replacement for Marquinhos, as the French champions begin planning for the future of their defence.
Despite remaining a key figure at the Parc des Princes, the 32-year-old Brazilian is approaching the latter stages of his career. He has made 531 appearances for PSG and enjoyed considerable success, including two Champions League titles. His current contract runs until 2028.
According to reports from Ekrem Konur and Fichajes, PSG are tracking Ganiou, 21, whose agreement with Lens extends until 2030. His estimated valuation stands at approximately £25 million.
The 1.82-metre defender has impressed with his positional awareness and versatility, offering cover at centre-back and right-back. After representing France at youth level, he made his senior international debut for Burkina Faso. However, upcoming surgery could temporarily interrupt his progress.
