West Indies Crush Nepal to Avoid Whitewash in Sharjah

Nepal entered Sharjah hoping to seal a historic whitewash, but West Indies produced a flawless display to claim their first-ever ten-wicket win. Despite the setback, Nepal can still celebrate their maiden series victory over a Full Member nation. The visitors struggled early, managing just 37 runs in the powerplay while consuming 20 dot balls. Kushal Malla and Aasif Sheikh tried to steady the innings, with Bhurtel striking Mayers onto the roof and clearing Hosein over square leg.

Yet disciplined bowling soon took control. Jason Holder struck after the powerplay, removing Malla, while the spinners thrived on a slow, turning track. Akeal Hosein beat the bat repeatedly, and Fabian Allen applied pressure in the middle overs. Ramon Simmonds was the standout, taking three wickets in his first appearance of the series as West Indies set up their dominant win.
