Dani Carvajal has completed his first training session with Getafe following the club’s confirmation of his arrival on a deal running until the end of the campaign.
The Madrid-based side shared images of the experienced defender working alongside his new teammates at the training ground on Tuesday, marking the beginning of his latest chapter in Spanish football.
The 34-year-old started the session with physical exercises before progressing to ball work under head coach José Bordalás.
Born in Leganés, near Madrid, Carvajal had been without a club since leaving Real Madrid at the end of last season. His arrival provides Getafe with an experienced option in defence as they look to strengthen their squad for the remainder of the campaign.
Carvajal will now focus on regaining match sharpness and adapting to Bordalás’ tactical approach ahead of his potential competitive debut for his new team.
