FC Copenhagen could face a change of ownership after parent company Parken Sport & Entertainment announced plans to explore strategic alternatives, including a potential full or partial sale.
The review covers the club’s men’s and women’s teams, its stake in Swedish side FC Rosengård 1917, and associated hospitality operations.
The process also includes Parken Stadium, with the company considering selling all or part of PARKEN Ejendomme, which owns the stadium and its adjoining office buildings.
In an official statement, the board said it was time to assess alternatives to the group’s current ownership structure and identify opportunities to strengthen the club’s long-term prospects. Potential changes could pave the way for fresh investment in sporting performance, supporter experiences and football infrastructure.
However, no agreement has been announced, and the review does not guarantee a sale. Both the club and stadium could remain under existing ownership following the assessment.
