Kane weighs MLS finale and a bold NFL switch

Harry Kane is beginning to consider how he might close out his career, revealing that a move to MLS — potentially combined with an ambitious attempt to play in the NFL — is on the table. Speaking to The Athletic, the Bayern Munich forward said he will evaluate the idea over the next five or six years, depending on motivation and how his career evolves.

Kane is passionate about both golf and American football, playing off a handicap of two, but believes becoming an NFL kicker is more attainable. He noted similarities between penalty‑taking and kicking under pressure, saying the transition would be “more realistic than golf”.

For now, Kane insists his focus remains on performing at the highest level in Europe, though he admitted the possibility of juggling MLS football with an NFL opportunity later in his career. He said such a combination “might be possible” if he eventually moves to the United States.
