Following her historic achievement of leading the Indian women's cricket team to its first-ever ICC trophy on November 2, captain Harmanpreet Kaur will be immortalized with a wax statue. The statue will be housed at the Jaipur Wax Museum in the city's historic Nahargarh Fort.
This honor serves to celebrate India's momentous World Cup victory and to underscore the significant achievements of women in sports. Anup Srivastava, the museum's founder, described Kaur as a symbol of "courage, discipline, and the belief that Indian women can shine on the global stage."
Kaur becomes the second Indian World Cup-winning captain to be featured at the Jaipur museum, joining MS Dhoni, who led the men's team to victory in 2011.
Throughout the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, Kaur played in all nine matches for Team India, scoring 260 runs in eight innings.
