The International Cricket Council has appointed Dr Ros Rivaz as its new Independent Director for a three‑year term, with the option of a further three years. Dr Rivaz currently chairs Anglian Water and UK Companies House, while also serving as an independent director at Aperam SA and Victrex plc. The ICC highlighted her extensive governance experience, strategic insight, and long‑standing commitment to diversity and inclusion as key assets she brings to the Board.
ICC Chairman Jay Shah welcomed her appointment, noting that her international leadership background will be invaluable as cricket expands its global footprint and pursues new opportunities. Beyond her corporate roles, Dr Rivaz has been active in community and educational initiatives, supporting programmes that encourage young women to enter STEM fields and contributing to local charitable projects. She described joining the ICC Board as a privilege and emphasised the importance of strong governance and long‑term thinking in guiding cricket’s future growth worldwide.
