Shreyanka Patil returns for Australia T20Is after injury

A fully recovered Shreyanka Patil returns to India’s T20I squad for the upcoming tour of Australia in February and March. After missing most of 2025 and the previous WPL due to injuries, Patil proved her fitness with a stunning five-wicket haul for RCB just hours before selection. India has recalled middle-order batter Bharti Fulmali, absent since 2019. Fulmali earned her spot through explosive WPL performances, boasting a 172.72 strike rate last year and continuing that form with quick-fire knocks against MI and RCB. Harleen Deol is the sole exclusion from the previous series against Sri Lanka.

In the ODI squad, Shafali Verma retains her place after successfully replacing the injured Pratika Rawal during India’s recent championship run. Rawal remains sidelined with a knee injury, alongside Yastika Bhatia, who is recovering from her surgery. Impressive wicketkeeper G Kamalini and Kashvee Gautam join the team, while Radha Yadav and Arundhati Reddy have unfortunately been left out.
