Arsenal weigh double attacking move

Arsenal are considering strengthening in two attacking positions during the January transfer window, with a wide forward and centre-forward reportedly on their shortlist.

The Gunners previously failed to secure a new winger despite exploring targets including Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Junior. Meanwhile, concerns are growing over the lack of consistent goals from Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres, with the latter yet to score this season.

Potential striker targets include Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez, Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi and Club Brugge forward Nicolo Tresoldi. Arsenal have the financial resources to pursue additions, although completing two major deals mid-season could prove difficult.

The need for greater firepower has become increasingly apparent, with defenders and midfielders often providing crucial goals. Arsenal have also struggled for consistency in front of goal during recent fixtures.

While no final decision has been made, the club’s willingness to explore both positions suggests further investment could be considered as Mikel Arteta seeks to maintain Arsenal’s title ambitions.
