Como have secured Tasos Douvikas’ future

Como have secured Tasos Douvikas’ future by extending the Greek striker’s contract until 2031, the Serie A club announced on Monday.

Douvikas joined Como in February 2025 after an 18-month spell at Celta, where he scored 18 goals in 58 appearances. Since moving to Italy, the forward has become Como’s first-choice centre-forward, registering 27 goals and five assists across 68 matches.

The 27-year-old has made an impressive start to the current campaign. He scored in each of Como’s first three Champions League league-phase matches, while his Serie A tally stands at five goals, including a brace against Sassuolo and strikes against Fiorentina, Napoli and Udinese.

Douvikas praised the club’s ambition and highlighted his development under Fabregas and his coaching staff.

Fabregas also praised the striker’s mentality, work ethic and ambition, expressing his delight at keeping an important member of the squad in Como’s long-term project.
