Kasper Høgh is facing growing scrutiny at Celtic after scoring just once in 13 appearances following his club-record £11 million summer move from Bodø/Glimt.
The Danish international returned to the starting lineup for Sunday’s 2-1 victory over Hibernian but endured another difficult outing before being substituted. His lack of goals has frustrated supporters and pundits, including Kris Boyd, who questioned the striker’s contribution.
Some analysts believe Celtic’s tactical setup may be contributing to his struggles. At Bodø/Glimt, Høgh thrived as a penalty-box finisher supplied by attacking teammates, whereas his current role has reportedly left him isolated.
Meanwhile, Colombian forward Camilo Durán has strengthened his case for regular selection with nine goals and five assists this season. Former Celtic player Scott Allan has also backed Durán to start ahead of Høgh.
The striker now faces another opportunity to respond when Celtic host Dundee United on Wednesday.
