England advances out of Group B along with Australia

Thanks to a better net run rate than Scotland, England will now advance out of Group B with Australia. Although Australia was the obvious favorite against the Scots, it seemed like England's campaign was close to finishing soon.

In a rain-shortened 10-over-a-side match, England defeated Namibia to advance to the next stage of the T20 World Cup. Harry Brook and Jonny Bairstow lifted their bat for England as the defending champions scored 122-5. Since losing to Australia by 36 runs at the same location four days after their inaugural rain-off match against Scotland in Barbados, England has responded well to the T20 World Cup. They were merciless against Namibia at North Sound once the rainy weather cleared, They had rolled Oman for 47 runs in Antigua before racing to victory in 19 balls to raise their net-run rate above Scotland's.
