Barcelona's 3-1 victory over Napoli

With a spirited 3-1 victory against Napoli on Tuesday, Barcelona completed a 4-2 aggregate triumph and qualified for the Champions League quarterfinals. Barcelona quickly established their superiority under head coach Xavi Hernandez, with goals from Joao Cancelo and Fermin Lopez giving them the lead early in the game. But Napoli rallied brilliantly, as Amir Rrahmani scored a goal to cut the lead.

Barcelona maintained composure in the face of Napoli's comeback, and their progress to the quarterfinals was guaranteed by ical finish from star Robert Lewandowski. Xavi highlighted the team's tenacity and resolve in his post-match remarks, expressing his pride in their performance. He underlined how important it is to advance to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2020, particularly in light of the difficult season that was hampered by injuries to important midfield players Frenkie de Jong, Gavi, and Pedri.
