Along with bringing Leipzig forward Lois Openda to Turin, Zhegrova is one of two major transactions the Bianconeri intended to finalise on deadline day. After the club deposited his contract with the league, the 26-year-old winger Zhegrova officially joined the Old Lady, completing the Kosovar international's transfer to Turin.
"Zhegrova brings flair, speed, and a technical repertoire that will enhance Juventus’ attacking potential," the Bianconeri wrote in their welcoming statement on their official website. He will be a new weapon in coach Igor Tudor's armoury because he can play on both flanks. According to various outlets, one of the major factors in getting a deal over the line was the player’s desire to join Juventus, as the Kosovar becomes the latest of a number of strong signings the club have gifted head coach Igor Tudor with this season.
