Martin Guastadisegno, the agent of Argentine striker Joaquín Panichelli, who plays for French side Strasbourg, confirmed that AC Milan have been monitoring his client for some time.
Guastadisegno stated: "There are no new updates from Milan, and we haven't received any communication so far, even though I have a good relationship with Forlani and Moncada." He added: "I haven't spoken with Milan's management in recent weeks, but they know the name Panichelli and have been following him for a while."
Panichelli, 23 years old, is under contract with Strasbourg until June 2030 and has been performing impressively this season, having scored 9 goals in 10 matches in Ligue 1.
Milan's interest in the Argentine comes as they search for a new forward during the winter transfer window, especially after the decline in form of Mexican striker Santiago Giménez, who has not scored yet any goals in Serie A this season.
