Nottingham Forest climbed to second place in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side secured their fifth consecutive top-flight win, a feat not achieved by Forest since 1995.
Chris Wood opened the scoring in the 15th minute, linking with Anthony Elanga before chipping Jordan Pickford for his 11th league goal this season. Morgan Gibbs-White added a second just after the hour mark, with Wood providing the assist. Pickford’s late heroics prevented Forest from extending their lead further. This win, Forest's first at Goodison Park since 1999, also broke a four-game winless streak against Everton in the league. Forest now sit temporarily above Arsenal and Chelsea, continuing to exceed expectations, while Everton remain in 16th place.
