Salah: "I hope Virgil will be next"

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah expressed his hope that teammate Virgil van Dijk will soon sign a new contract with the club after their victorious 32nd round Premier League match against West Ham United (2-1).
"I’m glad that we managed to secure this contract before the end of the season. I hope Virgil will be next. He can do whatever he wants, but I would really like to play with him next season," Salah was quoted by TMW.
It’s worth noting that there was earlier information indicating that van Dijk is close to extending his deal with Liverpool until 2027.
Additionally, last week, Salah extended his contract with the Reds.
