Ayeyawady United signs Myanmar international forward Win Naing Tun

The Myanmar National League club Ayeyawady United FC which is making necessary arrangements ahead of the upcoming football season have completed the signing of Myanmar international striker Win Naing Tun.

The Pathein-based club inked Yadanarbon FC striker on an undisclosed fee. Born in Saipyingyi Village, Depayin Township in Sagaing Region, Win Naing Tun represented Myanmar junior teams at different level and was chosen for Myanmar National team. He joined Yadanarbon FC in 2017 and played for Mandalay-based club for two years. The 20-year old player was also the bronze medalist with U-22 men’s national team at 30th SEA Games hosted in the Philippines.

He is the product of Myanmar Football Academy. In addition he is considered the most promising striker in modern Myanmar football. Ayeyawady United FC is set to play the opening debut of Myanmar National League against Magway FC at home soil in Pathein tomorrow.
