Bournemouth came from behind to beat Fulham 3-1 in a stormy Premier League clash and climb to second in the table. Fulham struck first when Ryan Sessegnon latched onto Samuel Chukwueze’s through ball and delicately clipped it over Djordje Petrovic. For much of the game, chances were scarce in the wind and rain of Storm Amy, but Antoine Semenyo sparked it into life. The winger weaved past defenders on the left, kept the ball in play, and squeezed a shot through Bernd Leno’s legs to level.
Substitute Justin Kluivert then powered forward from the centre circle and unleashed a thunderous 25-yard strike to put Bournemouth in front. In stoppage time, Semenyo sealed the win with a clinical counter-attacking finish, completing a two-goal, one-assist display. The victory moved Bournemouth to within a point of leaders Liverpool, with others still to play.
