Brest twice overcame to rescue a draw in Ligue 1

Brest overcame to steal a 2-2 draw at home, denying Auxerre the most points possible in Ligue 1. Despite not having won since November, Auxerre got off to a strong start and took the lead after eighteen minutes when Gaetan Perrin managed to hold Theo Blair's knockdown and score. At the hour mark, Abdoulaye Ndiaye tied the score by being the first to react to a loose ball, but 15 minutes later, Perrin gave Auxerre the lead again, making it 2-1.

But with eleven minutes remaining, Ludovic Ajorque found an opportunity and headed in an equalizer to give the home team a well-earned share of the points. Auxerre is in eleventh place with no wins in their 11 top-flight games and 25 points so far, while Brest is in eighth place with 32 points.
