Everton are close to completing a deal with Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend this summer. Townsend recently joined the free agency market after parting ways with Crystal Palace. The 30-year-old winger spent five long seasons with Eagles after playing for Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in the past as well. Rafa Benitez’s squad would benefit with the 13 times capped England international as Everton hopes to make a play for the first half next season.
Gray on the other hand, would be joining Everton in a £1.5 million deal after spending five years with Leicester City. The former England U21 international fell down the pecking order with Foxes to ultimately move in January and join Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. 25-years-old is eyeing a move back to the premier league side after an underwhelming season in Germany which saw him make just one goal.
