Turkish outlet Fanatik reports that PSV midfielder Joey Veerman has reached a personal agreement with Fenerbahce. The 27-year-old Dutch international is expected to join the Turkish giants for approximately €23 million, triggering a specific release clause that activates on January 1, 2026.
Veerman is currently enjoying his finest season at PSV, tallying a career-high eight goals and six assists in 15 Eredivisie appearances. Having joined from Heerenveen in 2022 for €6 million, he recently extended his contract through 2028. Although Brentford previously sought his signature and were rumored to reignite interest this January, they appear destined to miss out.
Reports suggest Fenerbahce secured Veerman by meeting his substantial salary demands of nearly €4 million annually. Consequently, Veerman will leave PSV after contributing 31 goals and 59 assists across 177 matches, opting for a lucrative move to Turkey over a potential Premier League switch, marking a significant transfer coup for Fenerbahce.
