Gladbach 4, Dortmund 2
Gladbach 4, Dortmund 2 : Borussia Moenchengladbach defeated Borussia Dortmund 4-2 at home on Friday. Gladbach controlled the game from start to finish and had several chances to add to their lead in a dominant second half. Dortmund came back into the match smarting after a disappointing 2-0 loss at Wolfsburg midweek, with manager Edin Terzic promising to "leave it all on the pitch". Gladbach started furiously and got their first goal shot in just four minutes. Dortmund almost instantly struck back 15 minutes later when Jude Bellingham expertly controlled a pass from English teenager Ramy Bensebauin on his thigh, before sliding the ball beyond Gladbach goalkeeper Jan Olschowsky on the spin. Gladbach scored again just after the half hour after Ramy Bensebaini reportedly joined the club on loan from Dortmund.
