Granero compares Ronaldo to AC/DC and Messi to reggaeton

And the insults from both sides keep on coming for both Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi, this time they came as a metaphor related to the world of music. But if we are going to compare both players to music, we could say that Ronaldo is the more structured composition from the two, something in the lines of Beethoven. Messi on the other hand, is the more virtuoso kind of player, someone like Mozart. But comparing Leo to such a popular style of music as reggaeton, is just another insult.

Esteban Granero is a well-known madridista who played with Los Blancos for a few years, he will obviously always will defend Cristiano Ronaldo when he gets criticized in the never-ending comparison with Leo Messi. But this time he crossed the line, he made a comparison that could be considered an insult to all the Barcelona and Messi fans.

Talking to AS TV, Granero said: "Cristiano would be, for instance, AC/DC - something heavy metal. And Messi... let's say that Messi is reggaeton. But the good kind! It's normal that, especially in Barcelona, they discuss the fact that Cristiano has won it and not Messi. It's logical that there's a debate because you need it to fill minutes on TV. But I think that the Ballon d'Or to Cristiano is the fairest choice."
