I will save King Faisal from relegation” – Ignatius Osei-Fosu

King Faisal head coach, Ignatius Osei-Fosu, says his objective is to help King Faisal stay afloat this season following his appointment.

The former Dreams FC & Eleven Wonders coach was officially confirmed as King Faisal’s new head coach on April 5 and was in the dugout later in the day as the club faced city rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the Betpawa Ghana Premier League match day 21 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium.

He guided his side to a goalless draw in his first game in charge against the reigning champions, Kotoko, earning a point.

Speaking at the post match press conference, Osei-Fosu revealed the rationale behind his decision to accept the King Faisal coaching job.

“The reality is that I’m results oriented. I saved Dreams FC, and I’m here to save King Faisal, too.

When you look at the points build up. It’s possible we can win the League.

The Isha Allah Boys currently find themselves 12 points behind league leaders, Aduana Stars after 25 games played with nine more fixtures to end of the season.

Next up for Osei-Fosu and his boys is a match against Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the match week 26 fixture on April 16.
