This past summer, Liverpool was rumoured to be interested in Jesper Lindstrom. He admitted in a Tips Bladet interview that the unpredictability of his playing time prompted him to think about switching to Serie A team Napoli. The Danish midfielder had an outstanding 2022–23 season with Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring nine goals in all competitions before moving to Napoli for €35 million. Along the process, the dynamic midfielder added four assists.
In addition to being able to play anywhere in the front three, Lindstrom is also capable of playing as a central attacking midfielder. In the upcoming seasons, the 23-year-old has the potential to mature into a top-tier playmaker. He could turn out to be an excellent purchase for Napoli. The midfielder admitted that he has supported Liverpool since he was a young child, therefore the chance to represent the Premier League team would have been thrilling for him.
